This month, Junior Achievement of Central Iowa is proud to celebrate nine incredible years of leadership under our President, Ryan Osborn.

Since joining JA in 2016, Ryan has brought vision, steadiness, and a deep passion for helping young people build brighter futures. His belief in the power of experiential learning and community connection has shaped JA of Central Iowa into what it is today, a thriving organization making a real difference in students across Central Iowa.

When reflecting on Ryan’s early days at JA, longtime board member Brian Waller shared, “It was my pleasure 9 years ago to be on the search committee that recommended and ultimately hired Ryan. I knew Ryan from his previous work at Dowling Catholic High School, and he impressed me there. Ryan inherited a much different JA than you see today. Through his leadership, JA has gone on to exceed both locally and has been recognized nationally for the whole team's efforts. I am proud of my 20 years on the JA board, and I am extremely proud of the job Ryan has done as President. Congrats Ryan, and here's to nine more!”

Under Ryan’s leadership, JA Central Iowa has experienced tremendous growth and innovation. He has strengthened partnerships, expanded programs, and led the organization to reach tens of thousands of students each year, giving them the skills, confidence and inspiration to own their future success.

“Under Ryan's guidance, Junior Achievement of Central Iowa has experienced significant transformation. His unwavering leadership for the past nine years has not only stabilized our foundation but also propelled us to new heights, evident in the thriving success of JA BizTown, JA Finance Park, and our newest venture, 3DE. Congratulations on your 9th anniversary, Ryan," said JA Board Chair, Rachel Adams.
