Junior Achievement of Central Iowa provides several ways that you can get involved whether you’re someone looking to volunteer, part of a district or school looking for educational materials, or part of a business looking to help us expand the reach of our mission.

JA BizTown

JA BizTown® is an experiential learning laboratory for elementary and middle school students that combines 9 hours of curriculum delivered in 12 lessons prior to a 4 and 1/2 hour visit to JA BizTown®, a fully interactive, mock town that simulates the day-to-day functions of thriving communities.

The Junior Achievement Bowl-A-Thon presents an opportunity for co-workers to build camaraderie and network with one another and other companies during a fun afternoon at the bowling lanes.

Your fun afternoon helps Junior Achievement STRIKE out financial illiteracy in our future leaders!

Student Ambassador Program JA of Central Iowa

In an effort to highlight amazing JA students in our territory and deepen the connection to the student impact and experience, JA of Central Iowa is implementing a Student Ambassador Program. The intent of this program is to showcase the leadership and work preparedness that JA programming instills by providing a platform for selected students to apply their knowledge, skills and abilities on behalf of their school and Junior Achievement. Selections will be made by October 5th, 2022

A powerful career exploration event for middle and high school students!

Junior Achievement of Central Iowa is excited to announce a new program for middle and high schools called JA Inspire – Virtual Career Fair! This program provides schools and students with 6 month access to a virtual career fair platform where companies from across our 55 county territory and 16 career clusters will create exhibitor booths to showcase their organization and educate students on how to land the job or career of their dreams.
