We are proud to announce that the Des Moines Public Schools have been selected as the 2022 JA School District of the Year! Des Moines Public Schools are being recognized as one of the annual JA Partners of Impact Honorees Presented by Voya!
As stated by JA of Central Iowa President, Ryan Osborn, “We are honored to partner with the educators in Des Moines Public Schools. Our mission is to help their students dream big and create a bright future . We look forward to building upon this partnership in the years ahead."
The information below outlines the student impact by the JA programs that were utilized this school year.
- DMPS JA Finance Park – 8th grade – 685 students
- DMPS JA BizTown – 5th grade – ~1,100 students
- DMPS K-5 Classrooms Programs: 1,143 students
- DMPS 6th Grade JA Economics for Success: 154 students
