Lunch & Learn: Get your team ready for JA Finance Park

This school year marks five years of JA Finance Park at JA Central Iowa and what an incredible journey it has been so far thanks to our dedicated volunteers who help every simulation run. Since our grand opening, more than 3,500 volunteers have stepped up to help middle and high school students explore budgeting, financial decision-making, and career planning in a hands-on, real-world simulation.

Volunteers who show up, engage and inspire are the heart of JA Finance Park. Whether it’s guiding students through their financial choices or sharing life lessons from the workplace, every volunteer plays a vital role in helping young people build confidence and skills for the future.

To make it easy for organizations to get involved, we offer Lunch & Learn sessions designed to introduce JA Finance Park to your employees. These interactive sessions make it easy for companies and teams to explore what volunteering at JA Finance Park looks like. No prior experience is required.

Here’s what to expect:

We come to your workplace and meet with your team
We walk through the basics: budgeting, financial concepts, and working with students
We wrap up with a fun Kahoot quiz to test your budgeting knowledge
We provide everything you need to feel confident and prepared to volunteer
