JA Finance Park volunteering opportunities available for your company

Volunteers play a pivotal role in enhancing the JA Finance Park experience. As the day begins, students are presented with a simulated life scenario, which includes a net monthly income, occupation, family situation, and debt. These students then rotate through various learning stations, where they acquire vital financial literacy and budgeting skills. Topics covered range from groceries and vacations to insurance, rent, and more.

Volunteers receive a provided curriculum but are encouraged to share their personal experiences and knowledge with the students. As the day wraps up, students utilize these skills and put them into practice by using our software to create a budget and simulate a month of spending based on their scenario. JA Finance Park provides a safe environment for students to learn and make mistakes, fostering a deep appreciation for their parents and instilling a more realistic perspective on money management and financial responsibility.
