For almost two decades, Wells Fargo has been a steadfast partner in advancing Junior Achievement’s mission. From contributing to the addition of the JA Finance Park experiential learning center to the continuing sponsorship of JA Finance Park, JA BizTown, and other JA programs, their support has provided thousands of students with the opportunity to build critical life skills and envision bright futures.

Wells Fargo’s partnership goes far beyond financial contributions. In the 2024-2025 school year alone, they brought 169 volunteers into JA BizTown, JA Finance Park and classrooms across Central Iowa. These volunteers serve as role models, sharing their real-world expertise and guiding students as they navigate lessons in financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship. Every Wells Fargo volunteer makes a lasting impression, showing students what’s possible and inspiring confidence for the future.

This leadership extends to the board level as well. Marta Codina, recently retired and a past JA Board President, has long been a dedicated leader whose commitment has left a lasting impact. This year, we are also thrilled to welcome Laura Howe to the board. Together, their voices bring invaluable perspective and further strengthen the connection between business and education in our community.

Together, Wells Fargo’s commitment, through funding, volunteerism, and leadership, continues to demonstrate the powerful role that corporate partners play in shaping the next generation. Thanks to their nearly 20 years of partnership, thousands of Central Iowa students are gaining the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to thrive in school, career, and life.

Wells Fargo’s support is a shining example of how business and education can come together to build stronger, more vibrant communities. We are deeply grateful for their enduring partnership and the impact they make every single year.
